Mindstorms book?

Yo-- my brother wants to get my 10 year old a book about Mindstorms, and found this. Unfortunately out kit is an NXT kit and this is for the other system. Any remcommendations??

    The systems are almost incompatible-- theoretics from one system still roll over to the other,
    but my recommendation would be to either buy the older system on eBay, or let your child's imagination do the learning for them.
